Dr. Abir Wafa leads EdTech and instructional design at Edulixa and Monglish International Academy, running AI adoption across the Kids, Teens and Adults tracks of the Mongi-Immerse ecosystem. She holds a PhD in Curricula and Teaching Methods and an MBA in Business Administration, with more than twenty years in international and public education across Egypt and Kuwait.
She is an IB PYP Certified Educator, a Cambridge CELTA-certified tutor, a Certified International Teacher Trainer and a Certified AI Trainer for Teachers. Her work sits where pedagogy meets engineering: seventeen EdTech platforms and tools built so far, from real-time speaking apps with pronunciation feedback to IB and CELTA lesson planners and digital story and mathematics libraries.
In Kuwait she co-authored the official national English textbooks for Years 1 to 5, trained more than a thousand teachers, delivered nationally televised Ministry of Education model lessons, and received the Creative Teaching Award for an interactive phonics e-book.
